Hello guys and in this article i'll teach you guys how to setup Solana binaries inside a Apple Silicon Machine. So without any further ado let's get started.

The Problem

How i solved and managed to solve the problems

1. Fixing the issue with the solana installation, got into my mind that solana already fixed the issues with the Apple Silicon devices already. We just need to solve the issues with the installation because a lot of people are installing and getting binaries for the wrong platform
2. So first download the tar from the latest solana release on Github inside the releases tab (https://github.com/solana-labs/solana/releases)
3. Select the latest version go to the assets and download the solana-release-aarch64-apple-darwin.tar.bz2 that is the version that is compatible with Apple Silicon devices
4. With your terminal run the following commands

$ tar jxf solana-release-aarch64-apple-darwin.tar.bz2
...
$ cd solana-release/
...
$ export PATH=$PWD/bin:$PATH

5. Let's test the installation run solana --version to check the version and solana-test-validator to run the local validator node, you should get something like this:
